Dre and Josh with Jeannie Ortega

We had the great pleasure of working with amazing talent Jeannie Ortega in Universal Publishing Studio last week. Thanks to tall those at Universal Music Publishing who welcomed us with open ears and minds. We really made magic in that studio and look forward to making more. We cut a record called "Not There Yet". Jeannie's lyrics really hit home for us on this one because it really spoke to all the hidden potential that so many of us have that we have yet to tap into. I cant wait for you guys to hear.

DRE AND JOSH AND SIRI MUSIC GROUP/UNIVERSAL

From Dre and Josh

Dre & Josh link up with Siri Music Group. Siri Music is an American record label, which currently operates in association with Federal Distribution, under the Universal Republic Records Group. Siri Music is the latest venture from producer/songwriter Chauncy Jackson. His production and songwriting (along with co-writer Kim "KC" Croft) credits include Tamia, Katherine McPhee and Jessica Simpson. The label is backed by a talented, experienced staff which has worked with many of the biggest names in the music industry (including Chris Brown, Rihanna, Cory Rooney, Heather Headley and Christina Aguilera).

Dre & Josh and Siri Music Group are working together to bring a unique mix of full, and power songs along with strong creative melodies that will introduce a big sound in the music industry. Siri Music is backed by Universal Music Group and their songwriting has been heard all over the country. This collaboration with Dre & Josh Music Group will prove to be such a success and will allow for their music to be heard all over the country.
“I think with songwriting, we were just missing the right producer connection. Now with Dre & Josh, we have the right mix and it’s time to go hard, says Chauncy.”

DRE AND JOSH AND SEBASTIAN

Dre & Josh enter the studio to begin recording with soon to be legend, Sebastian Mego.
The mix between Sebastian’s sultry tone and Dre & Josh’s infectious sound, this team will prove to be a force in the music industry. The hard work and dedication of this team is second to none. Although a freshman team, please anticipate greatness from this collaboration.

Sebastian Mego is a true singer who considers Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder his strongest influences. In December 2005, at 16 years old, Sebastian attracted the attention of Steve Greenberg, then president of Columbia Records, who after hearing him sing live in his office signed him to a record deal on the spot.

Although Sebastian’s time at Columbia Records was short lived (he was released from his contract in April 2007) due to the restructuring of the company, he was fortunate enough to have met with Chancy Jackson (President of Siri Music Group) this past year.

Sebastian’s has lent his voice to several projects. Most recently, he performed at the Hague Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. He is also on Disney’s Jump In album with the You Tube favorite “Where I Go From Here” and can be heard on the songs “A Time To Love” and “My Love Is On Fire,” from Stevie Wonder’s most recent album A Time To Love.

Dre & Josh bring a mixture of creative genre blends to provide a unique sound, specific to Sebastian Mego. This duo continues to study not only music, but the artists who bring it to life. Be on the look out for this Production Team as they make there way to the top.
